Payday And Danny Brown Channel Their Inner Dracula In "Vampire" Video
The video, which comes just in time for Halloween, follows PAYDAY and Danny as they both turn into vampires and wreak havoc across town in a stolen hearse.
Ela Minus brought her thrilling, boundary-pushing style of house music to the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago last month, and fans across the world were treated to a video of her performing “megapunk.” The track, taken from her stunning album, acts of rebellion, pulses with techno-inspired drums, sultry vocals, and a bassline that will stay in your head for days.
During the performance, the sun is bright but Minus still brings club-ready vibes to the audience. After cueing up the instrumental on a preposterously complex array of synths and boards, she stalks the stage with a combination of swagger and mystery, building the song with synthesized melodies and added textures, building the tension before stripping it all back to its beginnings. It’s an effortless performance of controlling the audience with builds and releases, and Minus proves skillful at translating her one-of-a-kind vision onto the biggest stages around the world.
